My first contest entry. It is inspired by the Horsehead Nebula. The universe fascinates me so I'll probably do more based on it. I graduated high school this year (attending college in the fall), and my favorite class was Astronomy.

For some reason the template file was in CMYK colors, forcing me to save it as JPG. But I strongly dislike saving images as JPEG due to the image quality. So with the help of PAINT, I changed it to PNG. The original is a bit better in quality.

Everything is made by me from scratch using Photoshop CS4.

This is a really great entry too! I like the balance of the design better than your second entry, it fills the space wonderfully, and the stars take care of breaking up the black space so it doesn't feel so overpowering to the design. It reminds me of the aurora borealis effects
